Anyone hoping for better weather was sadly disappointed with rain again in the air at the start, which turned into persistent rain for an hour during the ride. Despite the conditions we went for the 42 the mile route out to Whissendine and averaged 14.7mph getting Mark round the route, on his first ride with the club, which was a good effort in the wet and cold on a rolling route.

As ever its never as bad as you think, once you get out and get on with the ride.
