Several Witham Wheelers took part in this round of the Lincs League CX, held at Stroxton on the 22nd October 2023.
From a strong field of 48 riders in the Vets field, Matthew Kingston-Lee (21) fared best, other Wheelers included first timers Nick Parkin (29) and Barry Moulder (32). Seasoned CX riders David Millar (42) and Simon Cocker (46) followed with Simon suffering a race ending mechanical on lap 3.
Julie Clark carried on her strong season form finishing 2nd in the Ladies category.
Bobby Cooper finished well claiming first place by 15 seconds in the U12 race, with Daniel Goddard and Tabitha Goddard also faring well in the U9 race.
A big thanks goes out to the marshalls and volunteers for the day who helped set up the course and ensure the smooth running of the day.
