The PedalPushers 2014 circuit race series resumed at Fulbeck Kart Track promoted by Bourne Wheelers. Located half way between Sleaford and Newark its a criterium style circuit just under a km round with 3 tight corners per lap, a wide quite well surfaced track and a safe run-off area all round. A full day of racing saw a total of almost 200 entries  for the youth, ladies only, 4th and 2/3/4 category races. After some initial hesitation round the corners there was some really competitive racing in every category as riders learnt the correct racing lines and the general consensus despite a few spills during the day was that this is a good racing circuit with excellent facilities and we will look forward to further dates later in the season to be confirmed

Under 16 boys
There was a strong field of 30+ riders in the under-16’s race as it was an East Midlands Region team selection race. With the pace high the bunch split almost straight away with Adam Egner getting caught out at the back of the bunch. By the time Adam got to the front the race had split into several groups which forced him to solo ride picking off people as he was catching up to near the front of the race. Adam finally caught up to the third group on the road and sat in trying to break away and try to bridge the gap to the next group. He couldn’t get away and when the sprint came, he came third in his group finishing 12th overall and 4th for his age.
