Karl Baillie (Haribo-Beacon) raced in the latest round of the NCRA Rockingham Raceway Circuit Series on Thursday evening. Karl started in the scratch group of cat 2 riders starting 4 minutes behind the others in the hour race. The small scratch group worked hard to catch the rest with 3 laps to go. With a lap to go a solo rider was ahead and with just over a km to go Karl rode away from the bunch to chase. The line was 100m too close for Karl as he ran out of distance but took a well earned 2nd place. This gains Karl more points as he gets ever closer to his 1st cat license.
