On Bank Holiday Monday, Jennifer and Robert McAndrew raced the Ixworth Criterium in Suffolk.  First up was Jennifer in a very fast race with Elite rider Emma Trott (sister to Olympian Laura Trott) the favourite, the pace was incredibly fast from the start, with Emma driving off the front, with the race averaging 27mph it was always going to be difficult for Jennifer on junior restrictions, but with her usual stickability she picked riders off and moved up from 12^th at halfway through to eventually  sprinting in for 7^th.

 Brother Robert McAndrew followed in the Under 14 race which again started off very fast, initially staying with the leading group of 4.  After a couple of laps Robert dropped back to the main bunch, where he kicked early for the sprint and finished in the top 10.
