In the latest in the series of Witham Wheelers Reliability rides, 15 riders tackled the full hilly 60 mile route around Rutland water in great weather conditions as spring arrived, certainly for today at least. With group 3 averaging 15.5 to 17.8 mph and group 4 achieving a credible 20mph average for the tough route. 5 riders also rode a shorter 42mile route.
Next Sunday sees the final event in the series held over a challenging 60 mile taking in all the hills at least once, along the Belvoir ridge heading out towards Melton Mowbray.
First rider leaves at 8.30 from the Cricket Club on Gorse lane, with a shorter routes also available, all welcome,
