4/10 Presentation Night
A presentation was held at PedalPushers racing bike shop in Grantham Lincolnshire for the top 3 riders in each category in the 2013 PedalPushers circuit race series.
This year the series consisted of 7 events using circuits at RAF Barkston Heath, Newark showground and Lincoln Yarborough leisure centre. Races were promoted by Witham Whs, Spalding CC, Newark CC, Bourne Whs, Sleaford Whs, VC Lincoln and Lincoln Whs. Over the series there was a total of nearly 1000 rides in the various categories with separate races for Under 12s, Youth B, Youth A, 4th cat and Ladies and either a 3rd or 2/3 race.
Each event was self funding, but with help from PedalPushers prizes were presented to the top 3 riders in each Youth category Boy and Girl and for the separate ladies competition.
This was the second year that the series has been run and Kim Paxton of PedalPushers thanked Simon Cocker for organising the series and said that she was really pleased to see so may young local riders engaging in the racing as they passionately believed in encouraging the sport at this grass roots level.
