Peter Cocker (PedalPushers) tested his fitness with a ride in one of the traditional early season events and was reasonably happy to finish just outside the top 3 and less than a minute down on the winners time. This year the event was held on a main road course between Ely and Chateris rather than the well know circuit into the fens, as apparently the road surface was even worse than usual!
