Taking a break from the club 10 mile time trial league this week it was a one lap time trial of the road race circuit. A rolling  12 mile course with warm dry conditions and not much wind made for a really enjoyable challenge for the 33 riders who took part.

Winner for the first time in a club event in his debut season Karl Hunt produced a rapid 28.29 20 seconds too good for John Pilgrim with Junior Reece Egner nearly a minute back in third. Quickest under 16 was Adam Egner in 31.18 with Lara Thornhill first lady in 33.18 and Natalie Eastaugh second lady in 36.24

Next week its a return to the club 10 mile time trial league
