The Club 25 mile time trial championship was held over 2 laps of the rolling Skillington road race circuit but torrential rain up until one hour before the start deterred a lot of riders from entering. However the rain cleared and the event was ridden in good conditions producing a superb duel between Gary Symons and John Pilgrim with John taking the win in 58.41 by just 4 seconds, with Karl Hunt 3rd in 59.49. Any time under the hour on this course is always a good effort . Adam Egner was first Youth in 1.10.22 and Louise George first lady in 1.16.54 Handicap awards to be calculated
