Despite the earlier showers there was still a good turnout of 39 riders for the 13th round of the 10 mile TT league. Quickest rider on the evening was Peter Cocker (PedalPushers) in 21.46 just 8 seconds outside his course record and exactly one minute ahead of Gary Symons in 2nd with John Pilgrim another 7 seconds further back in 3rd. Adam Egner was fastest Youth rider breaking the 24 minute barrier for the first time with 23.56 and Carol Milne leading lady in 28.31.
Even after 13 rounds this year there were still plenty of personal best times as 14 riders improved with youth riders Ehren Courtman and Adam Egner leading the way equal first with a 34 second improvement followed by Veteran Paul Conneely only a second behind.
In the veterans competition Rick Yates just took first position by 4 seconds from Gary Symons with +3.22 and Paul Conneely making a big leap up to 3rd with +2.23.
Next week its the 14th round of the 10 mile TT league, sign on by 6.30 at the cricket club on Gorse Lane, guests welcome.
