Another fine evening for round 11 of the club TT league with warm dry conditions and the promise of the annual BBQ afterwards attracting 48 riders to sign on.
John Pilgrim was fastest again in 22.51 with Gary Symons 2nd 15 seconds back and James Westood moving upto 3rd but over a minute further behind. Fastest lady was Jennifer McAndrew in 26.20 but competition is hotting up as the first 4 ladies were all within one minute of each other. Adam Egner was leading Juvenile in 24.30.
On handicap Carol Milne made another big improvement taking almost 40 seconds from her previous best with 27.23 closely followed by Alan Stout and Craig Brown.
In the veterans competition Gary Symons took first spot again +2.58 with John Pygott making a significant move up to second +2.30 and James Westwood +2.14
Next week with 5 rounds of the league left we have a break with a non-standard distance 18 mile TT. Sign on as usual at the cricket club on Gorse lane by around 6.30 all welcome.
