Witham Wheelers held the first of their reliability rides on Sunday with 40 riders turning out in almost ideal riding conditions for the time of year. Split into 4 different ability groups to help riders gain confidence in riding with others, knowing that they are with riders of similar ability.
Tackling a circuit of 36 miles group 2 averaged 15.3mph, group 3 – 17.5mph and group 4 – 19.0mph with group 1 a shorter 27 mile route at around 13 mph.
Sunday 13th Jan week 2 it’s a 40 mile route, with a shorter 30 mile route, heading out to South Witham and Whissendine before returning via Waltham on the Wolds. Meet at the Cricket club on Gorse lane with the first group leaving at 9.30, further details on the club website, all welcome and refreshments available at the finish.
