First round of the Witham Wheelers 10 mile evening time trial league and a strong cold wind from the east made conditions quite demanding, with most riders significantly down on previous years best times. However the Egner brother showed good early season form with Adam 22.52 prevailing coming out on top over Reece 23.12 with guest rider Shaun Eden third in 23.16.
Tracey George 29.11 led the way for the ladies from Julie Clark 31.06 and Annie Walton 31.28
Of the younger riders Sam Laird, a guest from Sleaford, produce a good 25.52, while Amy Kolbert 37.45 rode well on her debut with Evangeline Searle 42.17.
April Tuesday 16th its round 2 of the league, enter to ride after 6.00 at the Cricket Club on Gorse lane, first rider starts at 6.45, with the best of 10 rides out of 16 to count its never too late to start.
