Spinning Classes at the Meres:
Still places available, these will resume on Tuesday 1st November from 19.45 to 20.30, cost £20 for 10 sessions on a first come, first served basis, with possible reserve spots available on a weekly basis.

Turbo/Roller – Winter training
As last winter we will have weekly Thursday night sessions on alternate weeks as follows
 The first Roller session led by Adam Egner will be on Thursday 27th October starting at 19.00, cost Free
 The first Coached (Tracey McAndrew) led Turbo session will be on Thursday 3rd November starting at 19.00 cost Seniors £3, Under 18s £2.
 The club does have a couple of Turbo trainers available, so if anyone would like to take part but does not have a Turbo, please contact Janet East to reserve one for the evening.
Note you could also join in with a Turbo on the Roller nights if you are not yet into the delights of riding rollers.
  Go-Ride Coaching
This will continue through the winter at the Meres Leisure centre on Saturday morning 10.30 to 11.30, well done to Mark Bailey for keeping these going. Mark also advises that he plans some additional sessions at venues such as Sherwood Pines
  AGM: Monday 28th Nov – 7.30pm
Due to holidays the AGM has been brought forward slightly and is on a Monday evening which we hope is still convenient for everyone. Please make every effort to attend as this is your chance to have your say in how the club is run and the activities that are promoted by the club.
If you have any suggestions for changes to the club constitution these need to be submitted to the club Secretary Carol Milne by the end of October.
Please also forward items for the Agenda to Carol.

Club TT Secretary:
Pleased to advise that we have a volunteer for the post of club Time Trial secretary, Martin Hedley who has been co-opted onto the committee until the AGM, when the committee will stand for re-election.
 Derby Track:
Several members have expressed an interest in an indoor track session at Derby, we are currently waiting for the next weekend dates to be released and will try to organize at the earliest opportunity.Â
 National Event Entry fees:
A reminder that anyone who has ridden a national championship/series event in 2016 can reclaim the entry fee, please let Janet East know before the end of October, so that the accounts can be finalised
 Witham Wheelers Cyclo-Cross:
Well done to Dave Beckett for organizing the club cyclo-cross and many thanks to the Club members who gave upto 4 hours of their time on Saturday to set the course out and 8 hours on Sunday (3 in the rain) to ensure a successful event, despite the rain.
 Both the Lincolnshire (Sundays) and Notts & Derby (Saturdays) Leagues continue upto the end of the year, with the East Mids champs being held at Darley Moor on 4th December.
 Mince Pie Ride – 18th December:
The annual mince pie ride is scheduled for Sunday 18th Dec. venue to be decided.
 Clubruns:
These continue upto Christmas, start time still at 8.30 from the Market Cross on Sundays and 9.30 Social Rides from PedalPushers on a Saturday. Further details can be found on the club discussion forum in the days leading upto the ride.
