This Wednesday Witham Wheelers promotes its round of the handicap R-R league, over 2.3/4 laps (around 32 miles) of the Skillington Road race circuit. Sign-on from 6.00pm at the Cricket Club on Gorse Lane.

If you are not racing then please come along and help marshall, please be at the Cricket club by around 6.15.

The first round of the 2015 Lincs handicap Road Race league starts on Wednesday 29 April. These are organised under the TLI and are entered on the evening. Typically these are held over around 30 miles, with around 70 riders split into 5 to 6 ability groups  ranging from relative beginners to first category road racers. If you want to try road racing for the first time or looking for a good workout then these are a good option.

Annual membership of the TLI costs £10 and you can join on-line via the TLI web site.

Alternatively you can pay for a day licence when you sign on for the race, at a cost of £5 plus the race entry which is £6.

In the Lincs league events points are awarded to the top 15 in each race, these are totalled up over the season with the surplus from the race proceds being divided up amongst the points scorers.
