Time Trial Championships – Advance Tickets now available online
The British Cycling National Time Trial Championships take place on Thursday June 25th and will be based at the scenic Cadwell Park Motor Racing Circuit located six miles south of the county town of Louth.
These events will bring the best of the country’s cyclists to Lincolnshire to race against the clock for the title of Britishtime-trial champion with the winner able to wear the national champion’s jersey for the following year. The 2014 championships were won by Sir Bradley Wiggins, who went on to win the world title, and Emma Pooley with the Under 23 Men’s title going to Scott Davies.
Access to the circuit will be ticketed and discounted advance bookings have now gone on sale. Follow this link to the booking page. The tickets are priced per vehicle with a car entry to the venue at £12 in advance or £20 on the day and motorcycles at £8 in advance or £10 on the day. Spectators arriving on cycles as club runs or alone will gain entry free of charge and a secure bike park will allow them to wander around the venue knowing their bike is well looked after.
Competitors entering the supporting events should purchase a venue entry ticket as well as entering their event onlinevia the British Cycling website. Separate arrangements will be in place for schools arriving in buses and competitors in the championships.
The venue will also feature a trade Expo village and the opening events of the annual East Lindsey SO Festival.
Cadwell Park is a 2.2 mile undulating circuit which the riders will cover from the start line before leaving at the top of ‘The Mountain’ to cover laps of a country circuit before returning to Cadwell Park and another climb of ‘The Mountain’ and back to the finish line.
Timing will be recorded electronically with each rider’s bike being fitted with a transponder from which they will be tracked around the course with times displayed on a big screen for all to follow. The women and Under 23 men will cover two laps of the country circuit for a full distance of 21 miles and the men three laps for 28 miles. The circuit will be totally closed to traffic and parking on the course will not be permitted.
Spectators in the venue will be able to see the riders four times as they cover the two laps of the Cadwell Park circuit.

2015 National Road Race Champs
I see the Time Trial circuit includes one of my favourite climbs Ruckland Hill. This follows the very fast descent off the Bluestone Heath road straight into a big S bend before immediately hitting the Ruckland Hill climb, its a short but sharp climb (about 1 minute 40secs worth)  this will be  a real bike handling test and a great place to watch.
If anybody wants to compare them selves to the top riders then you should consider having a go, a lot of the top time triallers will not enter due to the the presence of hills in the route.
