Fourteen Witham Wheelers joined together on a warm, sunny Saturday to support the Grantham Foodback by riding the 45 mile sponsored Charity Ride.  Everyone had a very pleasant ride on a well planned course heading out from Belton Garden Centre, through Marston, Long Bennington, Orston, Brandon and looping back through Claypole back to Belton.    The group had a pit-stop in Car Colston for a cold drink and snack before setting off again at varying paces, everyone agreed it was a lovely day out on bikes.   Chapeau! to Angie James on her furthest ride so far and for eating a peach whilst riding, and to Jacob Doughty for doing two laps of the course!

The standard routes are 20 and 45 miles but Phil Cranwell (the organiser) would be happy ( if we wanted it ) to make a 90 mile option ( say 2 laps of the 45 mile course? ) if some regular WW riders wanted to do a longer distance to be more challenging.  Â
