An interesting evening under the floodlights at the PFI track with almost 70 local cyclists turning up of all ages to try out this circuit.

The facilities are fantastic, there are not many circuits where you can watch almost the complete circuit from the bar in the enclosed viewing area  above the covered race assembly area. The circuit is well surfaced around 1.4 km long with a small climb up onto the bridge and back onto the main circuit.

It was difficult to evaluate the circuit at full racing speed as some of the corners were a little damp and slippery in the dark but it is sure to make for some spectacular racing.

Plans are in hand to promote circuit races at the circuit once a month in 2015 from March to July, full details to be announced in due course.

Hopefully there will also be some further training sessions through the winter.

The Bourne Wheelers have secured a slot next Wednesday night at the PFI track near Fulbeck.

We would like to see as many riders as possible on the evening to show commitment to the track for usage next year, and will go a long way to developing what could be a very good relationship.
