Saturday saw the VTTA National 10 mile TT held on our doorstep on the Long Bennington – Gonerby Moor course. James Westwood recorded 24.40 and Gary Symons 22.03 into a tough wind on the way out.
Very best wishes to Martin Lister, whose argument with a VW Camper Van ended his race, he is reported to be “not too bad” today. Which is more can be said for his forks and shattered helmet.

Five Wobblies competed in the LRRA 10 near Skegness Sunday in good conditions. John Pilgrim finished equal second for the second week with 20.40, James Westwood posted 23.31, Martin Hedley 24.08, Dave Herd 26.32 and John Scott 29.48.

Winner was Alex Colman (Arrow Cycles) 20.14
