A brisk westerly breeze saw saw some big improvements on this relatively new course. The uphill drag is well sheltered, as is the cross wind section to Saltby and then you are blown down the section to the finish towards Hungerton.
On time trial bikes Stan Nwaka (25.25) turned the tables on Simon Cocker (25.42)Â from the the last race 2 weeks earlier with a 17 second win with Matthew Kingston-Lee (25.46) not far behind on a road bike. Carol Milne (29.16) was fastest lady with Louise George (31.22) feeling the effects of an earlier long ride.
