5th round of the Lincs league was held in the picturesque grounds of South Ormsby Hall deep in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Some heavy showers on the way over meant it looked like being a muddy course but the rain cleared away and the rain softened up what can often be a very bumpy course, quite nicely. With new routing up the steep bank everyone agreed that it was an enjoyable course,
There was another good turnout from the Go-Ride section considering the distance to get to the event
In the Youth U16 race another good ride by Amy Kolbert saw her finish 1st U14 girl and 2nd girl overall.
In the under 9s Noah Lane 6th, Annabelle Gould 7th, Max Kolbert 9th and Jacob Crowley 13th.
Under 12s Isla Kolbert, 14th And Samuel Crowley
74 starters in the veterans event and Paul Conneely put in his best ride of the season for 15th overall (3rd vet 50), with Simon Cocker 41st (2nd Vet 60) just getting the better of Sean East 43rd by 5 seconds after a race long battle as Sean had some mechanical issues on the last lap.
With a smaller field in the seniors race Reece Egner still rode well for a top 10 finishing in 8th while younger brother Adam was forced to retire just over half way through the race.
Julie Clark continued her consistent run of performances in her first full season of cross with 6th overall in the ladies and 2nd veteran.
