Witham wheelers promoted their annual open 25 mile TT on the Quarrington-Osbourby- Donnington and back course on Saturday afternoon. A hot afternoon with a strong easterly breeze didn’t seem to slow riders too much and the event was won in a rapid 51.31 by Matt Sinclair (lutterworth Cycle Centre)
It also incorporated the WW club championships with Gary Symons the quickest club rider winning the David Chantry memorial trophy, with Paul Pearson not far behind. Louise George was 2nd lady on the day and took the ladies club championship from Tracey George and Julie Clark.
Michael Smalley continues to do well in the veterans awards taking the third prize with a plus of 12.55 mins over his age standard time.
